The light in late January cannot be beaten I don’t think. White grey skies with tinges of blue, to bright orange sunsets, then almost violet as the sun sets. In minus conditions, a very small stop off to see the Brent geese did not disappoint, however I think the geese had all gone to bed by the time I got there.

Although all sunsets are good, sometimes when it is a clear and crisp winters day, you just know it’s going to be a very good 15 minutes well spent.
